CANMAKE’s Mermaid Skin Gel UV combines chemical UV filters (including ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate) with mineral filters (zinc oxide and titanium dioxide), based on a third-party ingredient database, since CANMAKE’s own site lists a partial ingredient set. We didn’t find “Fragrance” listed in the ingredient data we reviewed, and alcohol-free status is claimed by third-party retailers but not confirmed on CANMAKE’s own Japanese site.
Bioré UV’s Aqua Rich Watery Essence relies on chemical filters only, with no mineral filters in the list we reviewed. Ethanol appears second in that ingredient list, meaning it’s present in a relatively high proportion, and “Fragrance” appears near the end of the list, meaning it’s present but likely in a small amount.
